Children

The Little Penang Street Market consistently organises activities for children. There are both fun activities, and activities which have a deliberate educational aspect. Reaching out to children of all ages is seen as an important part of the Market, and to raise awareness about our culture and heritage a special part of that.

Here are some examples – but come and check us out. There are always hands-on stalls, where there is opportunity to learn and experiment with a particular craft or cultural art.

And through the Reading for Life project, children from residential homes are also able to participate in the Market – so many thanks to all involved in reading for Life for sponsoring this.
