NGOs Charities in partnership programme with designers "Give a man a fish, you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish and you have fed him for a lifetime." That is the shared goal of some of our participants. And the Little Penang Street Market again is committed to providing opportunity for organisations like the St Nicholas' Home, Cheshire Home and Asian Community Service to share their vision and products every month at our Market. Each organisation has worked hard to provide education, training and employment opportunities within a caring environment, thus empowering physically challenged persons to fully participate in society while helping to educate the public. These homes are model examples that everyone should be treated with equal respect and dignity. The homes sell handicrafts to provide employment and a source of income for their many residents. Profits from the sale of the handicrafts go to the residents and to pay for facilities at the home. Adventist
