Theatre and more

The Space has witnessed some fantastic theatre, puppet shows, Chinese opera, mime and other dramatic performances.

The Penang Players have presented performance readings, including a comedy thriller; they have also organised (with Alliance Francaise) two Physical Theatre workshops with Uli Gottlieb which have resulted in mime performances in The Space.

We also had a wonderful performance for the "Celebrating Women" market in February 2008, written and presented by the Women's Centre for Change, Penang.

If you are part of a group, or know of any group, who would want to perform theatre or similar at The Space (about 30 minutes), let us know. We are always ready to showcase performances - that's why we exist!

The reading will feature members of The Penang Players who will be garbed in representational costumes of the characters.
